Over two-thousand revellers delved into the cosmic experience

On the day of the event, Nirvana Memorial Park (Shah Alam) was transformed into a futuristic cosmic wonderland, creating a buzzing yet welcoming atmosphere. This innovative concept attracted more than 2,000 revellers, with both adults and children alike delving into the exciting activities.

The event featured a variety of free amusement rides and games, such as the “Planetary Orbiter,” “Human Claw Machine,” and various virtual reality (VR) games. Additionally, there were DIY family-oriented workshops, a flea market, and food trucks, allowing participants to eat, drink, and be merry to their heart’s content.

Nirvana Asia also invited popular brands such as Cuckoo, HWC Coffee, PCK Coconut, and “Sekinchan Good Taste” to participate, adding more interactivity and fun to the event, with Cuckoo sponsoring products and merchandise as prizes for the games.

To enhance the overall experience, several space-themed photo spots were set up at the event, where both adults and children dressed-up as astronauts and aliens, taking pictures as if they were in outer space.

Datin Lee: The event incorporated technology and launched everyone for a lunar adventure

Nirvana Memorial Park (Malaysia Central Region) sales and marketing chief executive officer, Datin Lee Jye Chyi pointed out that her team for this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival celebration, spent three months to create a cosmic wonderland to surprise visitors with something special.

She emphasized that without the participation of the public, their efforts would not have been enough to make the event successful.

“Every event requires contributions from many people, strong team support, and the presence of all of you to be completed successfully,” she said, “This year, we set a new record in Malaysia as the largest Mid-Autumn Festival held in a memorial park. It’s not something we, or you, or any one individual could accomplish alone. It’s a record that all our guests have helped us achieve together.”

She further stated how in previous years, guests could only admire the moon from afar, “However, we brought the moon closer this year for everyone to see by aiming to break new ground for this traditional festival through integration of technology.”

In addition to performances by famed local artistes and Nirvana Asia brand ambassadors, Freddie Huang Yi Fei and Xiao Miao in their “Jamming with the Stars” showcase, this year’s event featured high-tech attractions including a spectacular LED water drum performance and a colourful light show.

In the twilight, the combination of vibrant multicoloured lights, sounds and technology brought an innovative performance to this culturally rich venue, delivering a stunning sensory experience for the audience. The fusion of modern technology with cultural traditions left everyone’s eyes glazed over with wonder and amazement.

Furthermore, Eight FM radio presenters Kyann, Ke Qing, and Anson were also present with the heartwarming “Starry Night Unplugged Concert.” They engaged the audience with discussions about life and performed moving songs, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.

“Stellar Moves” Kids’ Dance Competition

Following last year’s eco-friendly lantern competition, Nirvana Asia hosted the “Stellar Moves” Kids’ Dance Competition. That evening, three dance troupes from S.J.K. (C) Chung Hua Klang, S.J.K. (C) Pin Hwa 1 Klang, and S.J.K. (C) Taman Rashna Klang took the stage, showcasing their charm and energy under the night sky. The audience rewarded them with enthusiastic applause and cheers. Nirvana Asia presented cash prizes worth RM2,000, RM1,500, and RM1,000 to the champion, runner-up, and second runner-up teams as encouragement.
