YEAR 2025

Nirvana Enlightenment Ceremony

Each of us is headed to the next cycle of rebirth, letting go of attachments, and eventually finding liberation from suffering. The Enlightenment Ceremony gathers the power of all people to help all sentient beings; to help our ancestors with their karmic hindrances, aid the departed in their transition, and alleviating the afflictions of the living.

At Nirvana Memorial Park, we commemorate the sages of the past, embrace the mission of preserving Chinese culture, and regard the Enlightenment Ceremony as an important memorial service. With the spirit of prudence in pursing the future and remembering the distant past, we help guide all sentient beings towards liberation, in hopes that all may as accumulate virtuous karma.

Services we provide

Nirvana organizes the Enlightenment Ceremony annually at our memorial parks during the seventh lunar month. We consider it our traditional obligation to cultivate merit for the departed through various services offered to ensure they may find peace and their loved ones prosper and be blessed with good health.

Merit for the departed soul

To free begins in the Six Domains of Reincarnation from suffering and to achieve rebirth in the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss quickly. It is an act of gratitude towards the Buddha’s teaching, filial piety, and the kindness of other beings.
